Tame your computer – get in line

The gridlines you see when you are working in Excel don’t appear when you print the worksheet. You can obviously put borders around the cells, but if you want to print the lines between the rows and the columns, to make it easier to read, there is a quick and simple way.

Here’s how:

  1. On the Page Layout tab, in the Sheet Options group, tick the Print check box under Gridlines.
  2. Print as normal. (CTRL+P, I hope.)
